The Franklin County 4-H Horse Advisory Committee will be meeting on November 2, 2009. Each 4-H club with members taking a horse project is encouraged to send at least one representative to the meeting.

The 2009 Franklin County 4-H Recognition Program, held on October 11, recognized over 500 4-H youth members and adult volunteers who achieved special honors this year. Awards presented included Gold, Silver, and Bronze Clover Achievement Pins, Citizenship/Community Service Awards, Public Speaking Awards, Leadership Awards, Outstanding 4-H Member Awards, and awards for special achievements in volunteerism.
