The next Franklin County Master Gardener First Tuesday meeting is Tuesday, December 1 at 6:30 p.m. in Howlett Hall 116. The agenda will include the Program Assistant Report; Committee Reports, and Outreach Initiative Reports. We will discuss 2010 initiatives include Master Gardener training, the Home Gardener Series, the state-wide update of the Home Yard and Garden fact sheets, and the update of the Pesticide Recommendations. All Active Status Franklin County Master Gardeners and 2009 Master Gardener Interns are encouraged to attend.

The 2009 Franklin County 4-H Recognition Program, held on October 11, recognized over 500 4-H youth members and adult volunteers who achieved special honors this year.
