About Family & Consumer Sciences
The Family and Consumer Sciences Department focuses on empowering
families to balance the demands of life. We interpret knowledge
developed at The Ohio State University amd other land-grant universities
and are the ones who teach Franklin County citizens to use critical
thinking skills to identify and solve problems.
Educational
programs are made possible through financial support from
the Franklin County Commissioners, State and Federal Government.
Our educational purpose is to provide citizens with current information
to make living in Central Ohio better for individuals, families,
and communities in Franklin County.
