    Are you or someone you know interested in becoming a 4-H volunteer and helping a current 4-H club or starting your own? All 4-H volunteers must complete the Ohio 4-H volunteer screening process, which includes a completed background check and a volunteer training. We will be having three training sessions for new 4-H volunteers for the upcoming 2019-2020 4-H season. The sessions are scheduled for September 25, 2019, January 27, 2020 and March 25, 2020 at 6:30PM. All sessions will be held at the Franklin County Extension Office. You only need to attend one session.

    4-H Project Green Teacher is a school garden educational program for afterschool personnel, educators and others who are engaged in, or would like to learn more about gardening as a context for learning.

    Join Jenny Lobb, a Family and Consumer Sciences Educator, for this hands on workshop where you will learn how to safely and easily prepare food in an electric pressure cooker! Everyone will get to help prepare and sample a variety of dishes.

    Come and learn about the various projects offered in 4-H as members display their projects and lead hands-on activities during this open house.

    4-H members who are currently club officers or who wish to become an officer should attend. This is an informative workshop with activities that will strengthen skills and knowledge in parliamentary procedure, officer duties, and club leadership.
