    The Ohio Master Urban Farmer Workshop Series is an intensive educational program developed by OSU Extension.

    This series of eleven evening workshops is designed to help individuals learn how to produce and market all kinds of food products in an urban environment. While the workshop content will be introductory, individuals who already have some experience growing or marketing food products will benefit from participating.

  2. Nov. 24, 2019 6:00pm to 8:00pm

    This workshop is intended for 4-H members completing the State Achievement Form 2+ years or those who have worked quite a bit on their first year form. It will offer work stations and coaches available to help attendees with already started or completed achievement forms.

    Does the holiday season find you rushing around trying to accomplish too much? This on-line challenge will help you add regular movement, mindfulness and healthy “elf eats” into your lifestyle. Learn ways to simplify your scheduleandgift list, set realistic expectations, and embrace positivity. Watch for strategies and tips to help you organize your décor/stuff after the holidays.     Franklin County 4-H members who will be completing the State 4-H Achievement Form are encouraged to attend this workshop. Members should bring a computer if one is available. It would also be helpful for members to bring a list of their 4-H projects, activities, and awards.

    If your credit score is 640 or greater and one of the following apply to you, we recommend registering for Home Buyer Education. If you don't meet the recommended criteria for Home Buyer Education, we recommend registering for Money Management.

    Do you someone you love have diabetes? Preparing nutritious foods that taste good can be difficult at any time of the year, but the holidays present special challenges for those with diabetes. 

    Take Charge of Your Diabetes During the Holidays will provide you with tips for managing your diabetes during the holidays. You will learn how to prepare holiday favorites that are both nutritious and delicious. See live cooking demonstrations, sample healthy versions of holiday favorites, and take home recipes to try at your holiday celebrations.  

  8. Dec. 10, 2019 6:00pm to 9:00pm

    Check-in is from 6p.m until 6:30 p.m. Class starts promptly at 6:30 p.m. Those that arrive late will be counted as absent and will not receive any court attendance credit.

    Participants must register online. Court personnel do not do this for you.

    All participants must attend with their parent/guardian regardless of age.

    Credit card payment is required in the amount of $50
