The Ohio Master Urban Farmer Workshop series is an intensive educational program developed by OSU Extension. It is part of Extension's new Extension In the City program.
This series of ten evening workshops and a Sunday field trip is designed to help individuals learn how to produce and market all kinds of food products in urban settings. While the workshop content will be introductory, individuals who already have some experience growing or marketing food products will benefit from participating.
The cost of the entire program is $175 per participant, which will include a course notebook, several books, light refreshments each evening, one free soil test, and a bus tour.
This series consists of ten evening workshops starting September 14 and ending November 16, 2017, and one Sunday bus tour September 24.
