This series is an intensive educational program consisting of 11 evening workshops designed to help individuals learn how to produce and market a variety of food products in urban settings. While the workshop content will be introductory, individuals who already have some experience growing or marketing food products will benefit from participating.

The 11-week series will be held Monday evenings on September 10, 18 (Tuesday), 24; October 1, 8, 15, 22, 29; and November 5, 12, 19. The cost of the program is $175 per participant, which will include a course notebook, several books, light refreshments during each session, one free soil test, and an urban bus tour. Successful graduates of the Ohio Master Urban Farmer program will receive free assistance in securing land, tools, seeds, and other resources needed to help start or expand a successful growing venture.

Space is limited to the first 50 individuals.
