Bridging Fathers and Families through Financial Literacy is a free monthly program designed to assist parents who don't have custody of their children (specifically fathers) and are required by Franklin County courts to pay child support. Through the program participants take part in money management workshops, receive one-on-one budget counseling, and have access to multiple employment and educational resources/services. Upon successful completion of the program, participants have an opportunity to:
- Have their driver's license reinstated
- Have their Child Support order reviewed and modified, if eligible
The next series of classes will be offered March 4 and 11 from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the Schoenbaum Family Center. Participants must attend both dates. There is no cost for this program. To register, click here.
