Whole grains are an important part or an overall healthy eating pattern. Join Jenny Lobb, Registered Dietitian and OSU Extension, Franklin County Family & Consumer Sciences Educator, to learn how to incorporate more,vhole grains into your diet. In each class we will learn about and try a different whole grain through a cooking demonstration and tasting.


  • September 29: Couscous - Curried Couscous
  • November 3: Buckwheat - Buckwheat Noodles with kimchi
  • December 1: Farro - Farro, Chicken and Pear Salad
  • January 5, 2024: Barley - Hoppin' John - A traditional Southern dish often served at New Year's for good luck.
