Dates for the next Ohio Master Urban Farmer Workshop have been announced!
Classes will be Thursday evenings 6:30-9:30 p.m. starting September 10, 2015 and ending November 12, 2015. There will be a Columbus Urban Ag bus tour on Sunday, September 27. Workshop classes will be held at the OSU Waterman Farm.

The Ohio Master Urban Farmer Workshop Series is an intensive educational program developed by OSU Extension. It is part of the new Extension In the City program.
This series of ten evening workshops and a Sunday field trip is designed to help individuals learn how to produce and market all kinds of food products in urban settings. While the workshop content will be introductory, individuals who already have some experience growing or marketing food products will benefit from participating.
The cost of the entire program is just $105 per participant, which will include a course notebook, several books, light refreshments each evening, one free soil test, and a bus tour.
Successful graduates of the Ohio Master Urban Farmer program will also receive free assistance on securing land, tools, seeds, and other resources needed to start or expand a successful growing venture.
