Last month, our Franklin County 4-H Educators Beth Boomershine and Sue Hogan traveled to Indianapolis, Indiana where they participated in and presented at the 2017 National Association of Extension 4-H Agents Conference (NAE4-HA). Our educators joined 1,100 4-H professionals from across the country to network, exchange ideas, and experience professional development. Beth and Sue also had the opportunity to present their poster on the success of the Project Green Teacher Program. They demonstrated how to engage and educate teachers on how to start a school garden and the benefits that the Project Green Teacher curriculum offers as a 4-H Enrichment program.
