We are pleased to announce that Central State University, our nation’s newest 1890 land-grant institution is in full partnership with and now co-located alongside Ohio State University Extension in Franklin County. We are elated to welcome our new colleague Renita Porter, of Columbus, Ohio to the Franklin County team. Renita serves as the Central State University, Franklin County Extension Agent, and her area of focus will be Family and Consumer Sciences.

As Central State University Extension continues to evolve, new partnerships will be built, communities will be engaged, and more Ohioans lives will be impacted through Extension programming. Many states across the country have a successful partnership between their 1862 and 1890 land grant institutions. Our Franklin County team is not only excited to be the newest partnership on this list, but look forward to positioning ourselves to become a model for the nation. More to come…
