Registration now is open for the winter Project Green Teacher series, a 10-week school gardening educational program for educators, afterschool personnel, and others interested in school gardening. The program will explore a wide variety of topics and best practices, from learning the basics of school gardening to developing engaging curriculum, and will be held Wednesday evenings from 6-8 p.m. beginning Jan. 4.
Attendees who complete the program's requirements will earn a Project Green Teacher certification and 26 contact hours. As part of the program, participants also will be registered for the 2017 We Dig Ohio! annual urban agriculture and community garden conference. Total program cost is $150.
