Learn how to grow fresh, homegrown fruit in your own backyard! Join Ohio State University Extension and Master Gardener Volunteers for an evening of learning about more than 20 fruit crops that can be successfully grown in Ohio, including apples, peaches, blueberries, strawberries, grapes, pawpaw, figs, and more. Participants will receive practical tips for successful fruit production and enjoy a guided tour of the Waterman Fruit Collection, featuring tree fruits and small fruits. The workshop will be held on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at the Kunz-Brundige Franklin County Extension Building. This workshop is free; however, registration is required.
