Three skills for 2026 are:

EquiSTEP 

Each member will receive 10 points for passing the EquiSTEP test.

 

Basic Coat Colors

The 4-H member will be given a set of note cards with various coat colors. The member must select the five basic coat colors which are:

1. Bay
2. Black
3. Brown
4. Chestnut/Sorrel
5. White
    

Hoof Anatomy

The 4-H member will be shown a diagram of a hoof and a word list to select from to identify parts of the hoof.
